Its my honor to walk this path together

I'm a Trauma-Informed Facilitator for women, specializing in abuse recovery, psychedelic healing, and somatic integration. My work lives at the intersection of healing and collective liberation.

heal & reclaim your power

Your body learned strategies long before you had language; healing is returning to your whole Self again.

Hi, I'm Femke, Trauma-Informed Psychedelic Facilitator and Somatic Integration Practitioner.

Plant medicine crossed my path years ago, as I was exploring alternative ways of healing during my burnout. As someone who has struggled with chronic mental health issues, my first psychedelic experience left a lasting impact on me. It showed me the magic and the interconnectedness of life again. However, the integration period is what made deeper transformation happen.

As facilitator, I bring over seven years of experience working with psychedelics, more than 10 years of coaching experience, and have guided hundreds of participants in various settings.

My approach is grounded in nervous system safety, deep somatic support, and building an ethical relationship with plant medicine, ourselves, and the world around us. Here, integration isn’t an afterthought; it’s the heart of the journey.

Dedicated in Supporting Women

With certifications in Polyvagal Theory and Journal Therapy, as well as training in somatic plant medicine integration, I’m here to meet you where you are. With additional certifications as a Narcissistic Abuse Specialist and in coercive control, I am especially equipped to support women who are navigating or healing from abuse, such as Intimate Partner Violence.

This work is especially powerful for women who are seeking guidance outside dominant systems, such as patriarchy.

Here, you are the expert on your own healing and experience, while I walk alongside you on this path of healing and liberation.

healing the wounds of supremacy & misogyny

To heal is to reconnect with our wholeness, to deepen our connection with the Earth and other people, and to reject ideologies of domination over another — which ripples through family lineages and communities.

This Work Is a Sacred Reclamation

My journey became an act of reclaiming sovereignty — and now, I hold space for women to reclaim their life too. A sovereign woman doesn’t ask for permission. She remembers who she is and she walks herself home.

In my signature program Reclaim & Rise, I guide women in breaking free from the cycle of abuse. And for those who feel drawn to plant medicine, The Sacred Reconnection offers a path to healing beyond words.

Trauma can shape your life — but it doesn’t have to close it. Through embodied healing, it’s possible to rebuild more safety, trust, and connection, and a felt sense of being alive again.

Why My Work Is Different

Healing doesn’t happen in a vacuum. Trauma and healing are tied to societal, historical, and political systems of power — racism, capitalism, patriarchy, colonialism — and ignoring them only reproduces harm.

In many spaces, BIPOC and queer people are marginalized, women are told they “attracted” abuse, Indigenous practices are stolen, and systemic oppression is treated as a “mindset issue.” That’s not healing — it’s spiritual bypassing.

Colonialism and Eurocentric frameworks have split us from wholeness, disconnecting us from our bodies, spirit, and the land, and each other. Without critical analysis and somatic integration, spirituality and healing risk turning into New Age avoidance, where trauma and injustice are erased or minimized.

Here, your lived experiences and well-being are connected to the broader context of the world we’re living in today. This space is informed by intersectional feminism, like the work of bell hooks, with a clear refusal to separate personal healing from collective responsibility.

Healing is about reclaiming your wholeness, and engaging with the world in a way that rejects oppression or justifying harm, and supports liberation for all.

A Shared Vision:

Together, we support embodied transformation and collective liberation — for the healing of Self, community, and planet.

My Core Values

Anti-Oppressive

At Femke Valerie, it is my commitment to face, address, and dismantle oppressive systems like patriarchy, colonialism, racism, systemic violence, and exploitative practices. We cannot talk about healing while bypassing historical and ongoing systemic trauma.

Trauma-Informed

Here, I have a zero-tolerance policy for victim-blaming narratives, such as the idea that survivors “attracted” their abuse. Not only are these narratives incorrect, they can also retraumatize those who have already been harmed.

Together, we hold space for nervous system safety, co-regulation, autonomy, boundaries, and consent.

Heart-Centered & Critical Thinking

This space honors complexity and invites critical reflection. To live heart-centered in today’s world means cultivating both compassion, love, and discernment. Critical thinking is not the opposite of spirituality — it’s an essential part of it.

Earth-Based Spirituality

We work in partnership with nature — not as metaphor, but as our beloved teacher, mother, mirror, and most sacred home.

She is not a resource to exploit, but a relationship to nourish, protect, and give back to. Remembering this relationship is not optional, but essential for our wholeness.

Integration-Focused:

My programs don’t emphasize the “peak experience” of working with plant medicine, but the long, sacred, and often messy work that follows — in the weeks, months, and years after.

Plant medicines are not quick fixes, but rather our allies on a lifelong journey.

Ethical Practices

I work with European Psilocybin truffles: a legal plant medicine rooted in my cultural background. As part of my commitment to minimize cultural appropriation, I engage in ongoing decolonial shadow work, first studied with Dr. Rocío Rosales Meza.

My ethics also include referring clients when others can support them better and refusing exploitative practices.

Reciprocity & Repair

Healing work should never become exploitative. That’s why I offer scholarships and give back a portion of the profits to organizations like the Indigenous Medicine Conservation FundThe Gaza Sunbirds, and Panzi Foundation, who support communities impacted by systemic oppression.

Politicized Somatics

Everything is political: from the land we live on, to the safety and rights we (don’t) have, to the water we drink, the privileges we hold, and the conditioning we’ve inherited from our family and society. In a world shaped by power dynamics, this work is not “neutral” in the face of injustice. Here, healing and liberation are intertwined.

Spirituality isn’t about enabling harm or claiming to be above suffering. It’s about being deeply rooted — in our bodies, in life, with the Earth, and with all beings.
